After making an appointment with Safelite (giant national chain) I decided to call a local option (First Call Autoglass) to get a price comparison. Not only was Betty G at FCA friendly and professional, she quoted me a price that was nearly A HUNDRED DOLLARS cheaper for a new windshield.
